AboutHands.com is newly created website developed to provide a resource for computer users and the general population who experience hand and upper extremity problems.

Frequently, hand conditions can be associated with repetitive motion, overuse, strain, and the long hours we our required to spend on the computer. Many of our occupations, educational responsibilities, and lifestyles demand that we use our hands in a stressful fashion. These factors combined can lead to pain, inflammation, injury, and unfortunately, disability.

This website will guide you in discovering what may be the cause of your symptoms and offer the reader suggestions, support, education, and guidelines that may help provide an understanding of what may be occurring. We encourage our readers to write us with questions regarding their symptoms, concerns about their work stations/ergonomics, and any other areas relevant to the hand and upper extremity. If we don't know the answer we will do our best to research it, or guide you in the right direction. Many of the most frustrating aches and pains can be stopped with simple and painless solutions!
